A group of physically injured, bicycle-riding Danish veterans from the war in the Middle East passed through Pressalit on the 5th stage between Aarhus and Randers, of a tour that stretched from Copenhagen to Skagen. They rode to raise awareness and funds for their veteran colleagues that suffer from psychological injuries, as a result of their military stationing. It is important for Pressalit to participate in the support of disabled people in general, and to help bring focus to the matter of rehabilitation and athletic options for both physically and psychologically injured veterans.

Because of Pressalit’s significant interest in disability sports and because of our sponsorship with The Danish Sports Organization for the Disabled, we are very pleased with the fact that the para-dressage discipline is, for the first time ever, a part of the ordinary European Championships in dressage and jumping. The Danish para-dressage athletes brought home no less than five bronze medals from the championships, one of which was earned in the team competition, where the national team riders finished third after United Kingdom, who won the gold medal and Germany, who took home silver.
